Help & FAQ
Answers to common questions and guides for getting started.
Getting started
- Join the waitlist: Visit haberdash.io to join. We'll let you know as soon as access opens.
- Set up capture: Connect Haberdash to your meeting platform (Zoom, Google Meet, or other supported services) to start capturing automatically.
- Explore your knowledge base: Once meetings are captured and processed, search across your themes, meetings, and reference materials using the dashboard.
Bring your own keys (BYOK)
On the Free tier, you provide your own API keys for Claude (Anthropic) or GPT (OpenAI). This keeps all processing local and under your control.
In Settings, add your API key and choose your preferred model. Haberdash uses it only for transcription enrichment and theme synthesis. You control costs and model behavior.
Keyboard shortcuts
- ⌘K — Jump to search from anywhere

Troubleshooting
Enrichment is stuck
If meetings aren't being enriched (decisions, actions not appearing), check that your API key is valid and you have available credits with your provider (Anthropic or OpenAI).
Search not finding things
Search looks across themes first, then meetings, then short-term notes. If a result isn't showing up, check that the content has been fully processed (you'll see a processing indicator) and try a different search term.
Audio capture not working
Make sure Haberdash has permission to access your microphone or meeting audio stream. On first use, your browser will ask for permissions—grant them to continue. On desktop, check system audio preferences.
