Plain-language summary
These terms are written in plain English so the expectations are clear. They are not a substitute for legal advice โ if you have specific compliance, jurisdictional, or contractual obligations, please consult counsel.
Use it fairly
Don't use Haberdash for unlawful surveillance, deceptive recording, or anything that breaks your workplace, contractual, or legal obligations. We're building a tool for people who use it responsibly.
Account termination
We reserve the right to disable accounts that violate our acceptable use policy or that of any third-party provider. If your account is terminated, you'll have 30 days to export your data.
No warranties
Haberdash is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use it at your own risk.
Your responsibility
You're responsible for participant notice and consent before recording. You're also responsible for the third-party providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe, etc.) you choose to use with Haberdash. See Recording Guidance for our recommended practices.
Billing & cancellation
Paid tiers (Pro, Pro Plus) are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops the next renewal and retains access through the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled case-by-case โ contact us if there's a problem.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
